Welcome to SunKris
My name is Christelle, the creator of SunKris.
I was born in Gabon, where I lived until I was 8 years old — my fondest memories are from there. I then spent ten unforgettable years in French Guiana, where my ethnic and sunny inspirations come from. Originally from the South of France, in Provence, I have been an expatriate in Haute-Savoie for 10 years now: snow and fondue hold no more secrets for me!
From Pharmacy to Creation
Before SunKris, I trained as a pharmacy technician and worked in pharmacies and then in large pharmaceutical laboratories, in France and Switzerland. But something was missing: this deep need to create, to imagine, to bring colours and materials to life. In 2020, I took the plunge and created SunKris 🌺

SunKris is an artisanal brand that offers an elegant and colourful selection of ethnic jewellery, handmade, piece by piece. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings are crafted mainly from paper, resin, wood and fabric, for unique creations that reflect the cultural richness of Africa and the West Indies.
